What to expect at your appointment

 

Your first visit will include a review of your personal history, family history, and a discussion of your personal health and background. If you elect to pursue additional testing, your results will be personalized based on your personal history, family history, and any disease-causing genetic variants identified.

 

With this information, you can work with your provider to develop a personalized plan. Referral options for other specialists may be provided.

Are you currently accepting new patients?

  • ​Yes! Central Oregon Clinical Genetics Center is welcoming new patients for in-person and virtual visits. 

 

How far out are you booked?

  • Our clinic is booking appointments into the next year but scheduling often changes! Please contact our office for the most current schedule and to be placed on a cancellation wait list.

What types of conditions do you work with?

  • Our clinic supports patients with a range of genetic conditions, including multisystem unresolved medical issues and complex common conditions (eg. Connective tissue spectrum such as Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS) spectrum including POTS, Mast Cell Activation Disorder (commonly known as MCAS), etc.)

I have a family history but no symptoms can I be seen? 

 

  • Central Oregon Clinical Genetics Center sees patients that are currently experiencing symptoms.

  • Yes! We accept HSA payments for office visits.

If I am out of network, can I still be seen?

  • Yes! Our clinic can provide you with a detailed receipt that you can submit to your insurance company.

 

Do you have a self pay rate or see patients without insurance?

  • Yes! Please contact our clinic for information on pricing for self-pay patients.

Do you take payment plans?

  • At this time we do not currently offer payment plans.
